Hi! My name is Jessica Sacheck. I live in Austin, Texas with my husband Sam and my sons Sy (11) and Benji (9). By day, I sell accounting software to nonprofit organization, but my full-time job is being a mom and all that entails.

For fun, I enjoy family movie nights, cooking, reading, wine with friends, riding my ElliptiGO, taking Pilates, playing guitar, singing out loud, organizing my home, and fixing up my dream home. My latest project, this blog, and obsessing over the dream of turning it in to something more.

Since my husband suggested in 2024 that we cut all preservatives out of our diet for 2 weeks to see how we would feel, I have never looked back.

Prior to that I was experiencing swelling and joint pain that was so severe at times, I struggled to walk up the stairs in my home. As a 42-year-old former CrossFit athlete and runner, I blamed it on wear and tear. MRIs and X-Rays revealed nothing, and physical therapy yielded dismal results.

In just two weeks, I was pain free and the swelling in my joints was nonexistent. Not only that I had more energy and cognitive clarity.

Now, me and my family only eat REAL FOOD, and I want to help others live their healthiest lives through food.
